Farmleigh Porte Cochere with wisteria

Stopped here for lunch today and was very pleasantly surprised. The staff were very friendly, helpful and professional. The food was simple but tasty and good value. Great coffee. Lovely views over the lake.

We did the 11:15 am tour. The guide was excellent. This was about my 5th time doing tour but it was the most informative. Thanks to Don . He had a lovely personality. Very welcoming and full of enthusiasm. I would love to attend his Dublin Castle tour. Highly recommended.

The house tour was excellent, led by a great guide. We saw the beautiful rooms, which play host to visiting heads of state and royalty. The decorative features are outstanding with exquisite tapestries, stucco and gorgeous chandeliers enhancing the space.
