This event to mark Dublin History Festival will present and explore Michael Angelo Hayes’ Installation of the Prince of Wales as Knight of St. Patrick, in St. Patrick’s Cathedral in 1868 – an amazing painting in Farmleigh library depicting this famous occasion and elite guests who attended the ceremony. Some of these people have statues in their honour.
The talk will be in the library in front of the painting.
Date : Sunday 13th October – 11 00 a.m. (approx.1 hour)
Talk is Free but booking is necessary as there is limited seating. (Suitable for visitors aged 15 plus.)
