Concert Description
A moonlit evening of evocative piano music, weaving dreams, stories, and fantasies through the expressive power of solo and four-hand piano.
Anna Kiselyova opens the programme with Mozart’s deeply expressive Fantasy in D minor. Adam Collins follows with Beethoven’s much-loved Moonlight Sonata, whose timeless first movement remains one of the most captivating pieces in the classical repertoire. Schubert’s exquisite Fantasy in F minor will conclude the first part of the concert.
After the interval, we continue on a journey into the world of childhood wonder and musical imagination. Together, Adam and Anna will perform a selection of much-loved French and Russian four-hand suites – from the delicate grace of Fauré and Debussy to the festive sparkle and brilliance of Tchaikovsky’s Nutcracker.
