This Talk will shine a light on the life and work of this Dublin born man who was a hugely influential figure in Irish cultural life.  WB Yeats was one of Ireland’s greatest poets, a defining figure of the Irish Literary Revival and a founder of the Abbey Theatre.  He was a poet, dramatist and writer who devoted his life to poetry, drama and literature.  His work captured the spirit of a changing Ireland and helped shape the country’s cultural identity.  Yeats made history by being the first Irish person to be awarded the Nobel Prize in Literature and he also served two terms as a Senator of the Irish Free State.

Come along and discover the life, loves, literature and legacy of this extraordinary Dublin-born writer, whose words continue to inspire generations.
